Feeling kinda more sick of religion than usual lately. More pity for those trapped in it. More anger for those using it to their advantage.

Normally, as an atheist, it has no relevance to me. What do I care? But lately… well, it comes and goes in waves.

And right now, I’m at a nadir of patience or tolerance for Iron Age mythology and puritanical, self- and mass-oppressive pseudo-moralistic asceticism. Just the general lack of freethinking and skepticism that — anyway, ick. It makes me sick, and it makes me sad. And the way things are going, it makes me scared.
